Biosecurity OPERATIONAL PLAN 2020/21 (Item 4.0)

LTP PROJECTS LONG LIST UPDATE (Item 5.0)

Note:

·                Julianne Chetham – conflict of interest noted as a Hapu wanting to do marine biosecurity work.

·                Georgina Connelly – potential conflict of interest as an Environs member.

Agreed action points:

·                Revised proposal will be submitted to Council LTP process

·                TTMAC LTP process to be confirmed and distributed to members - Group Manager – Environmental Services

 

Feral Deer (Item 6.0)

Presented by: Biosecurity Manager – Incursions & Response

Agreed action points:

·                Draft a letter to Ministers for deer management co-funding with DOC. Group Manager – Environmental Services to talk to DOC colleagues to co-sign.

·                Inform iwi/hapu of the intended expansion of hunting programmes so they can identify local hunters - Group Manager – Environmental Services

·                Approach Ospri, MPI and DOC to co-fund the intended Feral Deer programme - Group Manager – Environmental Services
