Climate Change Strategy and Implementation Plan (Item 4.3)

·                That council provide a copy of the strategy and implementation plan and seek informal feedback from district councils in Northland following July adoption - Climate Change Resilience Coordinator - Climate Change Resilience Coordinator

·                The Climate Change Working Party supports council making a public statement about council’s position and commitments regarding action on climate change following council’s adoption of the Climate Change Strategy and Implementation Plan in July - Climate Change Resilience Coordinator

·                Examine wording of strategy document, based on feedback from Members – Climate Change Resilience Coordinator/Acting Group Manager – Environmental Services.

·                Amend recommendations of report to be “following July adoption” - Climate Change Resilience Coordinator

·                Canvas council members at Council Only Time to see if workshop time is required on strategy and communication plan – Cr Macdonald
