Modelling indicates approximately 8 cubic meters per second (cms) of overland flow Large 1-meter diameter culvert max flow rate is 0.82 cms Existing roadside drain overwhelmed, causing surface flooding down Kingi Road towards Otiria Marae Objective to design and construct a swale to safely deliver 8 cms of flow to Waiharakeke Stream Staff will work with KiwiRail; may require culverts under rail tracks Agreed action points: · No actions |
